The most familiar being \u201cfix it again Tony\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The joke was of course not all that funny, not all that accurate and perhaps a bit racist. But it was the 80\/90s and darn near every joke ticked all the same\u00a0boxes.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019ve never driven a Fiat, nor have I ever seen one broken down at the side of the road. So my opinion of them is fairly neutral.<\/p>\n<p>That is outside of a few pretty cool ones I have seen over the years, and this \u201937 Topolino is one of the cool ones.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.statorgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/fiat-topolino-406-power-1.webp\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61499 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.statorgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/fiat-topolino-406-power-1.webp\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.stanceiseverything.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/fiat-topolino-406-power-8.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61505 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.stanceiseverything.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/fiat-topolino-406-power-8.jpg\"><\/a>As you can see the silver Topolino is a far cry from its original form. In reality it\u2019s actually a fiberglass body that mimics a Topolino.<\/p>\n<p>Built by RCD Race cars the car has a roomy 112\u2033 wheel base thanks to a custom 4130 cro-moly chassis. The front suspension is RCD inboard rocker arm while the rear is and RCD built four link.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.statorgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/fiat-topolino-406-power-2.webp\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61500 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.statorgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/fiat-topolino-406-power-2.webp\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>As it\u2019s size and shape suggests this car is not a canyon carver.<\/p>\n<p>Instead it is built for the 1\/4 mile, capable of low 9 seconds at 149 miles per hour.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.statorgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/fiat-topolino-406-power-4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61502 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"\" width=\"800\" height=\"531\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.statorgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/fiat-topolino-406-power-4.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Sticking through the hood is a healthy Rodeck 6 bolt main 406 cubic inch aluminum small block. Fit with BRODIX heads, new cranks and rods, and an 8 trumpet stack the car is no slouch.<\/p>\n<p>A reverse manual valve body turbo 400 transmission backs it up, supported by a Ford 9 inch and upgraded center section.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.statorgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/fiat-topolino-406-power-5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-61503 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAAAACH5BAEKAAEALAAAAAABAAEAAAICTAEAOw==\" alt=\"\" width=\"648\" height=\"463\" data-src=\"http:\/\/www.statorgears.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/02\/fiat-topolino-406-power-5.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It also fully opens up, just like a Funny Car would, to allow the occupants to get in and out and giving onlookers a gander at what lies within.<\/p>\n<p>The car was quite successful in the early 2000 show scene wining a variety of Best engineered awards and shows such as the Detroit Autorama.<\/p>\n<p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"37 Fiat Topolino Bob test drive\" width=\"696\" height=\"522\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kBFMFoqHH10?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<p>Now though, the Fiat for sale on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ericsmusclecars.com\/muscle-cars-for-sale\/1937-fiat-topolino\/28469374\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ericsmusclecars.com<\/a>\u00a0waiting for the right owner to come scoop it up.<\/p>\n<p>The 95k asking price isn\u2019t chump change but, it looks like you get a decent amount for the cash.
